I'm starting to convince myself now that something is wrong with my PC due to the repetitive failures. Havent even once got beyond "The registration page is momentarily unavailable, please try again in a few minutes. We are sorry for the inconvenience."


Last night the "hammered" web page reasoning seemed fine since it did take a few mins to load at least before telling me I'd failed. Now it tells me the same sorry story in under half a second even when I purge temporary internet files and start a fresh load from a new browser.


Personally I had no problem whatsoever yesterday with the patch downloads, both for the SI and classic clients. Once the go ahead was given from #patchday on IRC it worked a treat and I'm happy some people are indeed benefiting from the long day GOA staff put in yesterday. Just wish I was there too.


Well thats all, hopefully get to explore some of the new zones and classes soon.

Someone in another thread said you shouldn't hit F5/refresh, as it refreshes the same error-message. Apparently you should click the 'Account' link instead.

I can't say if it's true or not, but it might help.

Hammered the Activate button for 20 mins then got through average hit 2 seconds, so only 600 times :bazbeer:

Still no luck for me unfortunately. Its only been 24 hrs though. I cant really be bothered spamming a hyperlink to try and register though, so it will probably be a couple more days for me
