Sorry if some people believe this to be off topic and I suppose it is and it isnt ..Basically I lived in the west of Ireland all my life and I know roughly 2fg of camleot players from there which I play with day in and day out.
However Im about to move from where I live to Dublin city and im going to be leaving my old mates behind and I was wondering if there are many camelot players living in Dublin or any even ? If so ..where do you play ? Is there a games cafe a lot of you play at or .. ?

Again ..sorry for the thread - mods can move it if they wish ...and please let me know if any of you play there and wanna hook up for a few runs etc ..

Hiya Ronso!

Im a fellow Irish player and I live in Dublin also. As far as I know people used to play Daoc in a cafe called DoesnotCompute near Temple Bar Square but last time I was there they have all seemed to quit .

The players that are still playing and I know of are my self and my 2 brothers but we dont play in a cafe just at home. Alb/excal Hib / Pryd thou . The chaps that did play in that cafe were a mix of mid/excal and Hib/excal. If you do find a cafe were peeps do still play give us a shout would be a laff to head in some time or if I find 1 I'll let ya know

LO m8 well guys i actuallt live in galway city an play with up to 10 to 14 camolote players an i no for a fact that theres a internet cafe in dublin city called Oblivian my mates gona be starting work there in the next month but there are suposidly alot of chamollote players there so guys id check it out ok an in the mean time ill ask my m8 waree it is exactly kk. aslso my screen name is Kelltic so if ur on lads give us a shout rite.

I have a pryd character too and I can also get u sorted for some cash etc on camlann if you wanna try ure hand at that ..

I'm a UK Guy that's involved in gaming in Dublin and if you want to find out abut gaming in Dublin or in Ireland in general, you should pay a visit to the Gaelcon Convention, which is Ireland's biggest (and iMHO best) games convention in Ireland. Full details are available from:

I intend to run a DOAC Players meeting when I get there - I'm in London right now.

You also might want to do a Google search for the Irish Games Association, they run Gaelcon and have details of gaming all around Ireland.
