LF info on Shield of Khaos encounter

well i have the book for this arti for some time now, but seems no1 ever is doing the encounter. why is this, is the shield not good enouf or the encounter to hard?
so all input on this arti is more than welcome, still like to try and get is so let me know pls

u look cool but ppl look at u and say noob tho :d same with the ppl who use block shields, slower speed then any shield, and no advantages except 20 dmg more on slamming!

i wouldnt want to wear it atleast :d

Well I did this encounter with about 3 Sms, 2 Warriors, 2 Healers Pac/aug, Runemaster with pbt and then like 2 shaman buffbots.

I did this before the FoP nerf and the encounter was fairly hard must of killed the mob about several times in all because of the damn healers so hard to keep on top of them since they come from every direction and normally stay out of the pbaoe... never had to many adds at one time that we couldn't handle though about 5-9 at most times oj/red think the encounter took about 45 minutes or so in the end was fairly long and quite difficult at times but if you manage to take care of the healers then it would be very easy (but it is a difficult task)

the shield looks nice thats the only reason I got it but it is difficult to fit into any template since it has 30 odd utility ML7 shield is much better with a better proc (heal) and has 60 utility. If I could fit it in a template though dispite how n00b people say it is I would have used it for the simple pleasure that I liked it

hmm ye the big is abit slow, but shield of khaos is soo good you can live with the 4.0 spd.
warriors dosent have much to interupt with, and a AE 700 radius dot is pretty good for interupting.
has saved me many times, i dont care much for the speed.
you do enough dmg with that big shield for a slam and a ragnarök with 2h battler to kill most luri elf avalonian casters.
and it takes some time to position yourself for a behindstyle, about 3.0 sec

i would recomend all warriors to use that shield, and yes its pretty neat
tho the encounter is pretty hard, but very funny idsay.

Agreeing with Ragge. Seen him in action using that shield in rvr. It's great for interrupting enemies. Haven't played my own warrior a lot in rvr, it dinged 50 in NF, so I don't have a lot of personal experience with the shield. But the few times I've used it it's been great

The encounter is kinda hard. Make sure to bring enough supp sm:s. You want enough attackers on the chief for the pbae to hit him. You can do it on an optimal fg, but it's really a lot easier to just bring more ppl.

Try to fight him in an open area a bit away from the buildings. It's extremely annoying when a centaur healer starts healing the chief from inside a house, out of LoS. Have a ranged nuker killing off those healers. Nearsight seems to make them go melee instead of healing.

I have also been looking for some info about this encounter. Though when i see its such a bother getting it ill just go for another shield. Anyone have suggestions on other good shields for warriors?

Was fearing that answer. My warrior is gonna be arti/farmbot but i still want a nice shield, dont know if i wanna spend 7-10 p :-/
