keep getting an error at the werewulf bane quest that when trying to use the Wolfaur direction sense charm that I cannot use the item from my backpack and that I've gotta equip it. but I've got it equipped, and I've got that message in /s that says [the charm pulses slightly, might be possible to use it in this area].

Relogged etc, but that didn't work.... how to solve

well... no, it should point me in the direction I have to travel when I use the item, but I cannot use the item. I keep getting that error message no matter what I do... never had it before.. kinda confuses me, and there's no level 100 online atm

Dumb question - you've given the charm to Averrius after you got it, right? Have ya tried just plain going to Varul?

okay.... I've been soooo stupid.....


I had the necky in my backpack when I put it in the qb, switched it with my beads, and thus I had my beads on my quickbar, and not the right neckless.... one'd think I would remember that an item on the QB refers to a slot, and not an item itself, after almost 2 years playing.....

i hopefully dont speak for myself but we all make stupid mistakes like that, but at least we dont all make ourselves look stupid by posting it on public forums
