Leveling service for 40+

Just thought I'd post here about an idea me and a few mates have thrown about, when we have DF and I'm not too busy doing stuff, I'll be available to tank for those who want me. Best place to get some decent xp, specially when lvl49 is DF (in my opinion Lyonesse is overrated, I know, I did 45-50 there), not only that, but it's the best place to get cash too. I'm happy doing anything from shredders to umber hulks (altho the last would probably be best done by a high 40s group), feel free to message any of my chars (see sig below for list). The reason I'm doing this is, I want 1100+ weaponcrafting, haven't done much lately and with SC coming soon, its time I pulled me finger out. As far as I know, there's only 3 weaponcrafters with 1k+ skill in Albion and I know it's going to cost me a fortune to do it, I've funded myself this far and by god I'm going to fund myself to 1k+ if it kills me. I realise some people are already doing this (Yussef springs to mind) but I'm sure there is plaenty of room for all of us.

Disclaimer: To those enemy realms reading this, NO it wont be all the time, so don't think you can come over our side looking for free RPs and xp kills.

Not sure that either tanks or clerics are particularly good at helping people level. Well, maybe if the cleric buffs and stays out of the xp group. Best levellers are casters where people sit about and leach ... just like RvR in fact

You didn't quite understand the point of either post then Turamber. We weren't actually offering a power lvling service, more something where if you need a cleric/tank, you can ask us. Unless ofc, you think an xp group doesn't need any tanks or clerics, in which case I'll apologise for this^^

Depends on what kind of tank you mean.. with my stats the way they are i chain kill all the advisor's (yellow/orange con) in barrows. I might need to take a seat once every 30/40 mins due to health getting low and thats it.. if that is not good exp for powerlvling what is?

To prove my point.. I took a lvl 21 Guild mate down there today and made her 6 bubs in just under one hour.. now to me thats good, what do you think?

/Edit.. takes me about 35/40 mins to get a bub for a lvl 44 (so it does slow down dramaticaly at the 40+ mark.

Considering there is a major xp cap it ain't so bad, but tbh if you find a good group of yer own lvl you'll do much better then getting it the so called "easy" way.

And that is what i would normaly advise.. but i will always help my guild mates if they have just had a bad group or are unable to get a group for some time.

Didn't they implement killtasks for lvl 21-25 in this patch? or was that 31-35?
Well killtasks, i mean the, mob-stole-stuff-get-it-back-for-reward-kinda-tasks

here are some i found:
lvl 23 mirror killtask- Warcry
lvl 23 Soul Gems killtask - Warcry
lvl 29 Dried Monk Skulls Killtask - Warcry

ok ok i know they aren't lvl 21 but still they should help abit.
Note that you won't always get xp but the mobs themselves are still good enough to solo.

Anytime you find them in Lyo, they're probably helping tree groups.

Belcar is another one, but he prefers to PL only guildmembers and gets cash out of the deal.

So the TDS duo remain the pure Powerlevel'ers to look out for

But in relation to what Carn's saying, having been on one of these expeditions I can say they're very handy. A group of level 40-45 players alone would have difficulty handling succubi/mahr exping, but chuck a couple of level 50s into the group and you have decent, fast experience with little downtime.

a group of 4 high level paladins and 1 cleric go through DF like a tornado. doesn't matter what the other 3 are. Since endurance regenerates much faster then mana

There are *4* weaponcrafters over 1k

1. Boney
2. Hendrick
3. Unywien
4. Yussef

And yes DF is the BEST place to get money... Took Unywien about a month with the entire guild pouring money on top of him to help him along his way from 0-1k, plus the countless hours he and other guildmates spent in DF collecting seals to reach his #3 spot. (btw all the 1k weaponcrafters are 1050-1060 so all really close to each other now).

So yes it can be done, and pretty quickly too if you have the time to craft and people to support you and time to go hunt yourself.

Boss and Shree are superstars, they help so many people and give up a ton of time with little or nothing in return but they don't care. They are just nice people and enjoy helping polite people If they were handing out medals for Albions finest those two would get an awful lot of votes.

Current weaponcraft cap is 1064, 1065 is the new weaponcraft cap in 1.54 to allow half time crafting changes if the item is grey.

Solo funding isnt that hard past 700, organise prince raids and such, or camp the Princess a lot.

Money comes in thick and fast.

The point of this thread is to let those who read here know I'm available to help them out, I could quite easily go camp the cooks room and kill everything in sight without much hassle. But that would be tedious and annoying for any 45+ people who have come to kill any yellows they can grab from there.
I've already done one raid, it was fun, fast, everyone was happy with the xp they got and the cash rolled in (autosplit dont like me so much though ). It was also to give an alternative to those who dont want to xp in Lyonesse, which frankly is one of the most annoying places in Albion. As for the weaponcrafting, as far as I know, I'm the only one that high who has never accepted donations to powercraft, the only cash I've had that I didnt earn through xp is when I've sold a weapon, apologies in advance if I'm wrong. I want to keep it that way, its a point of pride you see.

Lochy: sure I'll grab ya when I'm going, I'd take you as group cleric over all but a few that I know, your good at what you do so I know I wouldnt have any worries about dying (unless it was like yesterday when the group i was in got busted by about 6 purple mobs, one of which was a duke, FH is such an aggro holder ).

I'll take any and all classes, no discrimination from me, each class has their role to play in game. This idea is mainly to help those who don't come across groups often to level (ie Infiltrators or Scouts to name but 2), along with me grabbing seals too, so I can get to the end of my crafting, but I'm an easy going chap so all are welcome.

Oh yeah and I'm bumping this so more can read it.
