Leveling Artifact Changes

With the Aug 24 2004 1.71 patch, leveling artifacts has changed:
- In order to ease some of the frustrations in finding monsters of the appropriate level and difficulty, all artifacts will now use one of six leveling requirements. Artifacts will be assigned to one of the following regions: mainland outdoors, mainland dungeons, Shrouded Isles outdoors, Shrouded Isles dungeons, Trials of Atlantis outdoors, or Trials of Atlantis dungeons. In addition, all artifacts can now earn experience from player versus player kills and from killing monsters in the Frontier zones (including Darkness Falls, Passage of Conflict, and Summoner's Hall). Hey everyone - I just wanted to remind everybody that Darkness Falls is considered to be a classic dungeon, not a frontier dungeon. What happens on the frontier dictates (on most servers) whether or not the portal on the mainland is open. Thus, artifacts that level in frontier dungeons will see no experience from Darkness Falls. (Attention Pendragon testers: I do realize that one set of the Pendragon patch notes specifically mentioned Darkness Falls as a frontier dungeon. That was a mistake that should have been rectified much sooner, and I apologize.) I am sorry for any confusion.

Does this mean that rvr artifacts like battler tartaros etc wont gain good xp at all in rvr? like the 17% per solo kill you get atm

From patch notes:

- Artifacts which previously earned experience only from player kills will no longer level at an accelerated rate. This change was made because these artifacts have been changed to use one of the six new leveling requirements, allowing players more options to earn experience for these artifacts. The artifacts affected are: the Band of Stars, Battler, the Ceremonial Bracers, the Crown of Zahur, the Fool's Bow, Scepter of the Meritorious, Snatcher, and Tartaros Gift.

So get those ones levelled now!
