Level Loading times (multiplayer)

When I try to play a multiplayer game, the levels seem to take forever to load (over a minute) and by the time I get on the levels nearly over and it's time to go on the next one (and more waiting). My PC isn't that low spec Athlon800, 128mb pc133 memory, 30gb 7,200rpm HD, GF2GTS.

Anyone else have this problem?

Yeah, the load times are long, but if you upped your ram a bit (not expensive) it should shorten them quite a bit...

Also if you play on the *cough* jolt servers they play each map 3 times in a row, so you should only miss out on most of the first time becuase you have the map ready loaded for the next 2.

thx 4 the replies. Going to get 256mb more ram, been meaning to do it 4 ages anyway.

Got it (384mb now) Much better, loads in seconds now.

possibly... usually stick to the *cough*jolt*cough* servers though... we've got our own server too
