Ok, but it's probably also nice for the none-tanks... So a wizard could run around with a nice 16.5Dps staff

With the new game mechanics and other changes made till and especially in patch 1.52d the tanks will actually rule RvR ... well at least they will play a role in RvR, rather then only supplying vast amounts of HP to be hacked and nuked away so the ranged attackers have more time to get their shots in.

without us tanks there would be no relic raid or keep raid, so thank god we sacrifice ourselfs to do that (we should get rp for those raids tho)

Well, Purge will make us tanks a bit more usefull (at least if I check the Realm Points on the US servers)...

What Cure-Mez will do for us, I dont know... I'm not getting my hopes up...

As for us being 'needed' for an RvR (relic-)raid... I wonder if thats really the case... I think a rouge + casters group could capture a relic too... The uberguards might be a bit harder... But still think it might work...

I know someone that has a level 50 warrior on Bors... He's been busy for a LONG time getting RR5... If I'm not mistaken, 2 months or so now...

So, yes you COULD get RR5, but damn... Who knows, after Realm Abilities, I'll pick up my Armsman again... Till that time, Magmatic, the fire wizzie

Must be a druid thing (if you had stealth that is), that hardly ever happens to me, I usually get my perf in.

Uhm ... I wasn't speaking of realm abilities. Sure every tank has to love purge, mezz resist, insta mezz, insta root, self heal and all the other nice abilities. To bad the quickbars get shorter and shorter every day .

I doubt as well, that the mezz removal spells will do much for us.

But there will be some more changes. What will help tanks a lot, is the removal of the a game mechanic, that determines with how many people you are in combat. As it is now, you can only block/parry a few (max. 3) attackers. After the changes everyone attacking you can be blocked, parried - even if it's 20+, making zerging less effective, lets you live longer and makes you harder to get killed. Also the chances to hit an enemy are increased again.

Surely it doesn't make the tanks uber, but with the loving they got and are about to get, it will be some fun to be a tank in RvR. The chronicles in US clearly show way more tanks, then they used to.
