You come under fire from the higher ups then you go and compare to other forums, I was ranting about this on irc earlier.

Sorry but that other forum is besides the matter at hand, the thing that is the matter at the moment is THIS forum, comparing it to others doesn''t make a blind bit of difference.

If we made those kind of posts we WOULD get warnings in the thread.

They managed to get 3 or 4 pages (cant remember) of shit slinging. I think our threads wouldn't get past bout 2 posts before they would be locked or the person responsible banned.

Im not defending General in the least, I do agree there is a level of it in there but the fact is, you have gone and done the most predictable thing I have ever thought of.

The fact of the matter is that this forum was asked to clean up its act by the forum admin and basically was trashed, and a side effect of defending yourself was comparing it to another forum to try and shift the views of the higher ups to concentrating on another forum.

im not trying to shift the views every mod starts their brower at eot - then mods a bit - then goes to general.

Sure thing sharma, i made the obvious post, but i was just interested as whats gunna happen to that post. If its gunna be locked or allowed to have the amazing level of mud slinging thats going on in it just now.

Thats entirely up to Adari, he is the main mod of these forums.

I agree about that partcular post and indeed quite a few from the general forum in general as a few other posts are quite the same.

However that does not change the fact that the main focus from the forum admin dealing with this particular forum, the general forums for the most part are quite well self-moderated by the posters but unfortunately for some of eOT the level of self-restraint is not possible.

Hence why I suppose the main focus is on this forum.

eOT does come up with some real gems some times but the way some users take the moderation far too seriously then try and fight back by posting more palava that just isnt needed isnt.

General, on the whole, is a nice place, and spamming doesn't happen often, so its tolerated. On the other hand, exactly the opposite can be said for this forum.

Don't look at it as a loss though. Think about all we shall gain;

1) No more Jupitus stickin his nose in where it ain't wanted
2) No more posts from K9 and his Retard Krew (aoami - the inferiority complex suffering ginger butt plug, gunner and ST)
3) No more Adari and his crappy little clichés
4) No more er...anything really

Good riddance to it I say. Good bloody riddance.

Most of the people that made this place fun have either left, been banned or spent too much time in #e.ot and turned into complete dicks (coim'n'bi are pretty good examples). People like Shy, Evzy and Chilly who come in every now and then to try and liven the place up a bit are shot down and bugger off for another week or so.

This place is a hollow mockery of the place it used to be and even that was a hollower mockery of what we used to have on BW. I say burn it to the ground and hope the rats (you know who they are) are still trapped inside it when it all goes up in flames.

Sissyfoo, pointing fingers is pretty much useless since your one of the 'rats' who has been stirring up shit for a long time, I don't see the point in blaming others.

I think Sharma succeeded in explaining Brynn that there's no point in making such a thread as this one, I don't see why we need to start yet another flamewar that's nowt to do with the main issue in this thread so I'm closing it now.

In other words, I am closing this thread for obvious reasons.

Go and whine to Deebs in pm and convince him why I should put any efforts at all into making up new and better lines each time I have to close a crappy, unnecessary, POS thread like this one.
