The AK47 can easily penetrate the wall housing the small "back" door and also the wall joining it at a corner full of boxes. If u r playing at a standard anywhere above that of a half witted Terrorist (at the time) and are equipped with an AK47, by the power of hearing coupled with noisy ct play it is possible to detect approximate ct positioning through either of the afforementioned walls, with continuous practice of utilising this technique it can become possible to headshoot numerous counter terrorists reasonably accurately based on the detection of the slightest sound.

This was brought 2 u for the benifit of the Scoobydoo like ppl out there who are not admins and take it upon themselves to detect and unveil evil cheating ppl by observing the score alone or cos they got shot through the wall, unfortunately these meddling kids are often wrong and cause me considerable annoyance and loss of concentration usually resulting in my death. ty

Let it also be know that on the afore-mentioned map, any t with a reasonable sense of humour can crouch in the hole near the cameras, watching the nearest monitor, for cts heading for the outside ladder.

Let it also be known that the said t will spam many grenades into the corner near that ladder, and cause any cts there to be thrown way into the sky by the resulting explosions. I once got 4 cts with one grenade, doing that.

Cue accusations of cheating, lameness, and spitting of feathers!

PS that door you were talking about can be opened outwards by cts, just run into it sideways.

Oh the number of ts I've caught out with that one. Not to mention nicking hossies that t's have put there to hossie jump, by 'using' them through that door.

Spamming grenades into the corner is lamo imo.

We once had this guy, who'd constantly spam, so the only solution was to wait 30seconds before going up(so he couldn't buy grenades). God knows what we would have done on a 90second buytimeserver.

This tactic has become more common, and imo it's lame, as there's a reason why you can only hold 1 HE.

Perhaps I am wrong but isn't 'spamming' simply throwing grenades where you think people might be, repeatedly?

If you watch the monitor, and throw a grenade where you sknow someone is, surely this isn't spamming? Please correct me if I am wrong.

BTW I am sometimes accused of wallhack, because I use my ears, and surround sound, but I have never found the sound to be accurate enough to get headshots. Are you refering to single shots through the wall Mr Crapini? Or are you in fact spamming at the area you hear the CT's moving. If so, you do not approve of grenade spamming but you are quite happy to indulge in a little bullet spamming.

It's the fact he uses grenades that's annioying. You cna only carry 1 HE, and there's a reason for this(HEs are so powerful). He is spamming as when everyone stays away from the ladder he carrys on doing it.

these people can only do this because their team is dominating, and because of all the frags they're getting from spamming.

Well after all this has been said, its still funny as fuck to do it. And I get accused of cheating because I use the cameras; if noone goes up that ladder, I don't throw any grens. People think I have xray specs on.

I think crapini must be listening to the cogs turning slowly round in the cts heads when he shoots thru that door/wall.

To be fair though, if he's doing it all the time you could just note where he does it from and then lay fire through the wall to that spot...

As for grenade spamming on assault and any other map, its lame. Spamming is classed as repeated throwing of HE grenades into one given spot, usually using a script to auto buy them as you throw them. Its lame/boring etc. I've seen many T's do it when I'm T on assault and I just sit there bored as he throws grenades at the corner, boring as fuck.

Though throwing a grenade somewhere then buying another for later is ok imo, as long as its not repeated throwing in the same places.

And for those who are a bit "slow" grenade spamming is where in cs_assault, a terrorists stands by the vent entrance on the upper level and uses a buy script so he hits a key bound to buy grenade, throws the grenade, hits the key, throws etc constantly and if he has $16000 thats a hell of a lot of grenades.

I really like assault, especially as T, I scored 38-4 there the other day, my best ever score by a (very) long way. I did attract a couple of cheat accusations, of course.

The thing is, it is a great map for spamming: grenades, the vent the back door, wherever, and I hate it.

I do not include tom here, he is throwing grenades somewhere he knows people to be. I am not including Mr Crapini either for the same reason. These are not instances of spamming in my opinion. What I really hate is the noobs who buy a para and spend the entire round straffing the vent, (or the back door or the roof or anywhere) there is no skill in this and it spoils the map for other people.

Assault is quite biased towards T's as it is, spamming just makes it worse. When you get a good bunch of people (especially some really good CT players) then it can be a great map. When it is full of spamming noobs it can really suck.

My fav. Assault tactic is buying a Para as a CT and then shooting at the building. It's a great way to relieve stress...
