Here's something for ones of you who rarely these days (like I) play daoc.

If you don't have money in the CM of your's you'll bound to lose the house. I have two accounts myself, and the other cottage house was lost due insufficient gold in th CM.

Anyway, few points (what some might have not yet realised, and heres a recap of those), in case you loose your house, to get the stuff back assigned to your CM and your vault, you will only need to buy CM and vault merchant back - once you've bought your house back. The content of those two are reassigned to ya, once you've bought your house back, and have also claimed those two items as of Cm and vault merchant back.

SO there's some few tips to not to lose a house - like I did - make sure you got gold in your CM, or you've assigned some gold in lot box - otherwise you'll your hose.

I just wanted to make this thread so not more ppl than I would lose house like I did - so lessons learned - like I did hehe :)

Hehe, lost mine just like that some time ago, but! You dont need to buy a new house with vault and CM, there are NPC`s that give you these items back if you visit them with the owner ( toon ) of the house you lost. The vault NPC`s are in all houseing zones ( i think ) but i have only found the CM one in Erikstad ( cant remember 100% but in one of the lager "markeds" in houseing zone.

There is one banker who gives the content of the vault, and there's one banker who gives back the content of the CM. In the same housing zone market area where one had the house.

Losses

To emphasise : if you lose your house, you lose ALL the internal and external decorations, including any trophies. I lost a nearly complete trophy collection that way - but as it was on Hib I don't mind...

Thats right. If you lost your house because you didn't remember to pay the rent - you can't get it resummoned to the place it was. GOA don't restore houses if you've lost it due the reason you didn't remember to pay the rent.

So if you are going to take a break from the game, and fear the house might not be there when you return, you should remove all your decorations from the house and store them in your char/house-vaults or on your consigment merchant to make sure you still have access to them when you return to the game.

you can get the stuf back from your CM, there is a NPC in one of the markets that will give it back to you.

Did you not read the first 3 posts in this thread? BUT you will NOT get back trophies etc. Nor will GoA give you them - I tried.

Yes, if you're gonna be away for a bit you can try leaving enough cash in your Lockbox or on your cm - but I'm told they don't always take from the cm - or, as you say, take up everything on display, inside and out, and store it in inventory, vaults or on cm.
