Just hope Ethilds enjoys his ban for something as stupid as wanting to jump on a wall that you normally cant in order to gain the advantage over 1fg of GoP and about 1fg of solo people whilst camping the villa with 3fg <shrug>

technically (other than difference in power of abilities) this seems exactly the same as banelords using stun immunity to spam stuff
although chain st is rather more evul, could keep someone stunned forever ;o

And the stun immunity grapple bug that used to exist.

However the difference in those is, that this is actually a RA with a 10 minute recast rather than a master ability that just stuns the caster.

Basically there is a bug that allows you to cast certain RAs over and over again. I have it linked to TWF, the friar in question has it linked ST. This means he can chain cast ST over and over, without the 10 min wait. It also means you can have more than one up at once.

The effects of said bug can be seen here.
(That screenie was taken to demo, at the same day it was reported to GoA).

The effect allows the same thing to be done with ST. Either multiple casts (which the friar hasn't been doing), or chain casts (one ST after another, which he has). Its pretty obvious to see how this can have a massive impact in RvR, and pretty obvious to see why groups (not just mine) are complaining. Lastly, its also pretty obvious to notice it being done, I fail to see how the support classes are oblivious to the fact they are permanently surrounded by a big glowing lighting ball thing.

GOA are not aware of any bugs relating to ST at present.

But in using Ra's just to err on the side of caution.

Dear my bestest buddies (after Septina ofc) the great Thowen and those friendly chaps at Rising Force,

It has come to my attention that its obviously hard for you in RvR recently... I mean the only "good fights" for you seem to be ones you add on. However there is no need to resort to bug abuse to try to win now is there?

Please keep that naughty friar known as Tucka under control. One cast of ST per fight is fine, but 4 or 5 in 60 secs using the nice bug that comes with BattleMaster is really just not cricket. There is really no need to try and get your friar banned when it doesn't save you anyway.

I only say this because I care.

There is a diffrence between xrealming and playing 2 diffrent realms on the same server, atleast if you by xrealming mean something negative. We have 3 realms but only 2 english servers, so some choose to play 2 realms on the same server. Dont see any problems with this as long as no information about the other realm is passed over, and you dont farm your self or ppl you know ofc. I surely wouldnt want to play on a german or french server, simply cuz I cant speak the language and refuse to learn it to play a game

GOA are not aware of any bugs relating to ST at present.

This is untrue. GOA is fully aware of it. The cause of it is also quite clear; however a fix isnt easy; since its something hardcoded into the game which causes it.
