Legion raid!

I went on a legion raid last week and it was so laggy/ slow frame-rate I cud not do much but follow the others. Most of the other people seemed to be ok so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to reduce the lag/ slow frame rate. I am on a 56k modem and cannot get broadband
My pc:
1.3Ghz AMD
384mb ram
128mb Geforce 3 TI 200
56K modem
Windows XP

i have a slightly higher spec pc with 600k broadband, i too find i cant do anything in raid type things

i think if everyone had higher connections it wouldnt be as bad, but obviously they dont

ive been meaning to try a raid with any and all graphic options turned right down in the hope of it being playable

Check the perforamce counters. If its not the fps one then its your modem (and I know a lot of people who simply dont go on very large events cause their modem cant take it ). If this is the case and you cant get broadband then perhaps you can get an ADSL line?

If it is your fps, then its down to DAOC being bus lagged and looking at your spec, I guess the answer is a new motherboard with a kick ass fsb as the rest looks fine to me.
