Legendary Weapons

Was looking at some of the combo's for legendary weapons on Vision of Ages and 1 of the ingredients is a Rare Weapon. Any idea's of what counts as Rare (could u use RoGs?) or is there a set list of "Rare weapons"

How to make a Legendary Weapon
You need to get one of the 4 legendary weapon drop componenets:
Dust of Creation
Vial of Heavenly Breezes
Torch of Innovation
Cauldron of Vivifying Water
You then need to bring it to either a previously capped WC/Fletcther (1080+ in Albvion). The components needed for each weapon are:
1 Rare Drop
1 Level 51 Weapon
3 Weapon Tinctures
3 Perfect Earthen Essence Gems - (exact gem provided by Cheres)
40 Arcanium (WC) or 92 Duskwood (Fletching) - (# of duskwood provided by Loi)


So yeah, think it would be any 16.2-16.5 dps weapon, and also I think they come already spellcrafted, seems to be with same stats each time, 28 con and two lots of +8% resist, although did notice that staves had two 9% resists. Also I think a melee weapon gets +7% melee damage, bows get +7% ranged damage, staves get +10% to magic damage. All seem to have a DD w/resist debuff proc.

The main thing with legendary weapons is that they do elemental damage, so the resist debuff is really useful. The quality you get on them is random, and it doesn't depend on the quality of the quality of the level 51 weapon in the recipe.

These might come in very handy for killing clerics that have hit bof, but due to most people having higher magic resists than melee resists, I doubt they get used much.

Tbh Legendary Weapons dont seem to be worth the amount of money u got to put in compared to Artifact Weapons and some of the Nicer 100% qual drops. If the Weapon pops out @ 96-97% qual u realy got to hope the debuff procs for the damage to be asgood as a MP 16.5 wep. It seems the Rare components drops off most of the Master Level and Artifact Boss Mob's. My suggestion would be to hold onto the componentent until Mythic sort's out a method to guarentee the quality. That being said the Weapons are still Very Good PvE basher's especialy if u are trying to Lv a artifact that requires Killing certain Monsters that are weak to its elemental damage ie Cold on Crock's etc ..but still expensive for a PvE basher..

Read about some Inf on usa who had a pair of 99% Legendary weapons that debuffed the poison resist of his target when they proc'ed, quite a good idea imo. I can just imagine that with a NS using Viper who has a high Mastery of the Arcana, heard its poisible for them to do over 1k in poison dmg alone if they get Crit resist debuff and a Crit Tick, sounds very evil

As with each new expansion there will be combos and things way over the top, but dont worry, they will be fixed quite rapidly. Maybe in a year or two, when they have established how it works.

that can only be the DoT`s on hsi reactive armor though since his env poison is body ... and there`s no body legendary weapon .

Legendary weapons are basically for assasins and for PvE specialists who tend to farm certain mobs.

Tanks only have partial use of the Belt of the Moon. But using the create item ability gives them body based weapons(100% qua).

If you mean there i only gonna buy scrolls. Thats pretty short thinking there.
You should read the website. There you will see who drops them and what /loc.
Its the americans who put something like this. Shouldnt wonder if some1 else did this aswell. Meself will doing it on the old fashion way. And why not if i have the money left.

Wouldnt dream of wasting my cash on something thats free really, gunna have to do a fair amount of pve with the artifacts and whatnots so much as well kill a few birds with 1 stone so to speak That webby seems a bit better than vision of ages, thx 4 the link.

Well it would depend on how hard rare the scroll is tbh ... if it takes 3-4 hours of killing mobsto get a scroll you might be better off hunting Dimond Seals in DF since you can make around 1 plat an hour in a good group set up then you can buy all 3 Scroll's and PvE Lving the item up ..
