i happen to be in the possesion of a (phone) video which shows some random university slut shagging a wine bottle like kinga did infront of a load of people.

what i want to know is can i register a URL and host this video for everyone else to see without any legal back fire?

Seen that on a work collegues phone. Girl is blonde right? Was told it was a barmaid in a local bar, must say the resemblance to said barmaid is uncanny, almost everyone in the bar was talking about it. Maybe it's the same girl, where is this Uni?

It's a bit sketchy as to whether you need permission from the girl in question, as by letting herself be filmed (assuming she knew it was being filmed) she kinda gives up anyrights she had...i think.

The person who did the film does indeed own copyright in the material, so technically you could sue if a third party ripped off your recording and passed it off as theirs. However, you should be more concerned with the risk of a private or public criminal prosecution, or the risk of a civil litigation than your spurious intellectual property rights.

Assuming she has not given her permission she could accuse you of Defamation for spreading this. Its the same thing as the cases where boyfriends have filmed themselves and their girlfriends having sex without the girl knowing about it, and then spread it on the net etc.
She most likely did not intend for her actions to be seen by anyone outside of that room and she is in her fullest right to expect them not to be. Getting drunk and doing sexually explicit things with a bottle in front of people is all well and good (assuming she wasnt actually druged and coerced into doing it), thats her choise, but getting it spread to third parties is not.

This is the kind of thing that might well destroy someones life, making her go into depression, even suicide etc.
