Yup, recently done that for both L4D2 and Borderlands.

It's a good deal imho - damn you steam for enticing me to buy games!

Its a really good deal, most of my clan did it. Unfortunately I had already pre-ordered with Steam before the deal came out so I had to pay full price whilst everyone else pays less. If Steam are going to do this deal more often I will be more patient and not pre-order as soon as the game is on the steam pages.
