The title says it all guys & gals. DAoC isnt the fun it used to be - almost all the people i started playing with have left and the game has changed vastly from when i first started.
Add to this the only char that really appealed to me to play has been destroyed just after i got him to 50, and the alts aren't even out of they're 20's yet - means that this is the end of the DAoC road
On top of all this i have a new career beginning not far into next year that will require massive amounts of my time - so its probably a good thing that i'm leaving now or i'll make a mess of that by playing this damn thing too much.
One thing to those playing 24/7 - think about your life and what you want from it and whether playing a computer game all day every day is helping you get it. Just something that came to mind the other day when i realised how much time i really spend sat in the game. Kinda disturbing really. If thats all you want from your lives then fair enough - if not rethink your priorities somewhat. (that wasnt an attack on anyone so please no flames)
It was fun playing with you all. To those i played with, leveled with, chatted with, aided, killed and was killed by <salute> <bow>.
Might start playing SWG if i have time next year - if i do it'll be under similar names to my old characters in DAoC if not exactly the same ones. Maybe i'll see you there, maybe not.
Excuse the long post and the philosophical babble in the middle.
<Wave> Autarkis out.
