Learning Visual Basic

Anyone know where I can get a cheap Visual Basic course.

I would like to learn a bit of it so I can do some proper macro's within Excel/Access

Most of the courses I've seen have been quite expensive...around £800!

Also how easy is it to learn? Would it be easy enough to learn from a book?

I am doing an AS in computing and that is learning visual basic.

At college (as the teachers are shit) we use the MS press "Learn visul basic now" good program to learn from.

i taugh my self some simple VBScript in acces with the help function and my knloedge of php

ps i taught my self php with books and the internet

If you have some knowledge of programming techniques and languages anyway then try recording macroes in excel and then understanding how they work through editing them.

Worked for me, but bring back Excel 4 language support you gits, MS!
