I have heard there is a bind for those idiots who run around leaning left and right. What is it? Is it possible?

don't bother....play it the hard way so that when lean-strafing is fixed in the moh expansion pack, you will much better than those who rely on it now.

Sadly this is not going to be fixed after all and instead will be left up server admins to choose.

yes its very possible to bind the 2 but if your going to lean and strafe then do it the way the skilled players do with 2 keys.

There is no problem if used as normal, on 2 keys. If you have it bound as an alias, so that when you strafe, it leans...that is plain wrong. You said its part of the realism. Is it realistic to run with your body bending like mad? Doooooon't think so. I am sure the smart admins will choose to disable it if there is any choice at all.

Anyway to scan someone's config for the alias?

Ahhh I get what you mean now!. I use 2 keys to strafe and lean.

I think if you could run & bend at the same time then youre probably Uri Geller! mad in the head, body and mind.

There are so many nuances of body motion and alignment that cannot be expressed in the game that lean-strafing can be seen as compensation for the other imposed restrictions.

I don't run a hell of a lot in-game but there are ppl who run all the time. Like that's possible... Why can't you get tired or sumfin?

It would be more realistic but then more frustrating as you would be trying to catch breath with some l0oN shooting caps in ya ass and wont be able to move.

If youve played GTA3 and sprint for a while you'll know what I mean.

Plus another point it would take ages to get anywhere, especially if its Omaha and your knackered by the time youve reached the sandbanks from the boat. Gonna get mowed down.


I dont think bringing in a "tiredness" mod would be a good idea.

They should just do what they did in Wolfenstein, way clever. You have a normal movement and a sprint bar. Normal movement is fine, but if you need to dash from behind a bunker or something, you can do so with your sprint, which lasts like 5 seconds before it needs to recharge. Way cool, wish they would incorporate more stuff. What about lying prone, that is super cool. It gives you better aim, but if someone catches you lying down, you're toast.

There is a massive scope for improvement into an already awesome game.

Leaners suck

Leanstrafing sucks, you can't do it in real life so it's not all part of the realism thing.

Leaning should only happen when you are not moving, round corners etc.

Lean strafing is just another way of cheating as people have to shoot you in the legs to kills you and this takes longer than just shooting you once in the head.

Lean strafers show a lack of skill by not playing fairly. It's not part of the game to bind 2 keys together.

How about a mod for leaners to have "stabilizers" attached to the legs? ... like they do on bikes with them attached to the wheels.
