League Idea

As a regular LPB player, courtesy of my university LAN. I've ended up on many a game against similar LPB'S, from various universities around the UK (alongside the usual "LPB's are wankers!!" taunts from modemers).
Therefore wouldn't it be nice to have an inter-university league set up for all these players? I know many ppl at my uni would love the idea of playing against other uni's in organised matches. The only team restrictions would be that members have to be current students at their university (so players could play regardless of any clan they're in). This would be ideal for mods such as actionquake or even TFC.
Since nearly every player would be an LPB, then there would be no complaints about ping or server lag.
Unfortunately I know bugger all about setting up dedicated servers, websites etc...
so if anyone out there thinks I'm not just talking a load of crap, then get in touch (e-mail or post a reply).....if not then I await the flame thrower army with Railgun in hand!

setting up this league would be a very very cool idea for people at Universtiy, the only dificult thing would be maintianing interest in the league if it was for Uni stundents only because what a person is at Uni for a max of about 4 yeares so you have someone join in their last year, they play 1 season and then nack replacement required.
One of the Universties with the kit they have could set up the server, however it might be a very very very big pain convincing them to run the dedicated server.
