Leaflet Printing

Looking for some leaflet printing, i've googled etc etc but i take your guys opinions seriously

Anybody used this? I want around 1000 business cards printing off, maybe A5 flyers.

If I was in your position, we get LOADS of junk mail, half of them leaflets, I would save some up, they've all got where they got them printed on it (usually tiny type at the bottom), call a few of them up, get some quotes, & go with the cheapest.

I paid £50 for 500 cards and i think it was £350 for one sided glossy A5 colour flyers

but that was a local printer

I paid around £60 with a heavy group-student discount on 500 A6 (postcards).

That was like a top notch company though, so might be worth just going to a local print shop and getting quotes if your not bothered about gsm etc.

There are lots and lots and lots of people who do printing services, many of them will simply do a design and then go to a printer to get your design done - so act as amiddle man.

Whatever you do, always get a final proof so you can check for errors and feel the quality. Cards come in different finishes, types of card etc. Lots of different paper types for leaflets as well. This can affect cost greatly. Remember, once they have been printed, any errors that were not picked up by you in the proof are your responsibility.

My partner uses VistaPrint for her business cards, they are quite cheap apparently.

vistaprint are good, as are most of the online places, but we found for our business cards and letterheads that you get far more competitive quotes from independent printers.
