The whole copyright stuff over roms which havent been used in over 20 years are so not cared about. Many companies dont want to know or care about who is playing their ancient and decrepid (read good) arcade roms that no one will ever get to try and see without an emulation program.

MAME is just a bloody museum piece. Its not like my pc has its 3 1/2 drive rammed full of old 10 p pieces. Its not like i am going to put an arcade cabinet in my porch with a coin slot (hmmmm )

I can understand why companies like SNK may be a little upset, tbh i dont even know if they are, because they are still releasing games on the humble neogeo (16 Bits!) but piracy is rife in all areas where there is media, ive seen far worse than this in other parts of this forum and an emu scene within BW would be ace, theres a lot of gameheads here who pay to get heard and those spangly silly *128* bit machines (me hides all 4 of his) bore the hell out of me, getting far more fun playing astroids at the moment. Any way, just a thought. would love a forum

My joystick rig arrived yesterday \o/. I can now start building my Arcade test rig. I have a list of parts I need at home and I've just got to get it all sent via mail order.

Unfortunatley I did just miss out on a PCB of Robocop for £40

This why a forum would be nice, im gonna build a cabinet and whipped is too, its not easy and setting up stuff like ipacs need a forum =D

I need a cpu and mobo and a tv out graphix card oh and a cabinet to stick it in, any suggestions? apparently a 1400 xp will suffice but not too sure

my 1600 xp runs everything at its full fps apart from Cruisin' / KI.
20GB should be ample though, for the OS / MAME / Roms (I think the entire current set is something like 8gb?) + room for future releases.

SNK are out of business now, some Korean company picked them up I think? They're still releasing Dreamcast games, and KOF stuff on the same hardware, so i'd assume they'd be kinda pissed

its gonna kick my ass into gaming heaven, hopefully ill have a fully fledged mame cabinet to batter my friends on by then

i think capcom coded capcom vs snk with input from snk whereas this version is gonna be coded by snk/playmore iirc

been playing sf2 series and alpha 3 etc for aaaaages now, relatively new to kof so itd be nice to see the output
