LCD Laptop Mod

Hello guys,

Is there a way that you can covert a Laptop LCD monitor to a normal PC screen, thinking of some modding possibilities and don't know where to start.

I take it you mean to use it on a normal PC....I doubt it can be done and even if it can I doubt it would be easy.

a while ago we built a modded case with a lappy screen in the side, very sweet but a lot of headache

had to make custom connectors to hook the tft into the vga display and power it - there are a few sites online to give u some guides

which manufacturers screen are you considering?

its a "dual" laptop, an old 266mhz but like you I want to connect it to the side of my pc. I'll try and get and image of the connector if it helps.
