Hey up,

OK something that is really bugging me..

I have a:
AMD Athlon 1.2 Ghz
512MB Ram
256MB Radeon GFX Card

And we are connection with NTL Broadband.

When I first started playing I had the same PC but with a 32MB GFX card. Last night sums it up - I had red Latency 99% of the time when playing making it near impossible to play - despite the fact that I am running what they say is the best interface - I have set my PC to 800 x 600 and lowest settings running the TOA & SI with New Frontiers.

Any ideas on what could be going on?

1. check the temperature of your new GC (graphic card) and it's working frequencies if they work on manufacturer's definitions. (If not, pay a visit to your pc shop and do /slap /slap ;-) )
2. what's the performance of your PSU (power source)
3. What's your mobo?

Try reinstalling newest drivers for your chipset and graphic card. If the graphic card is overheating or your power source is not able to give it enough power, the card won't go up to the rendering frequencies state.
Though with 1.2 GHz CPU & 512MB RAM you need to know graphic card won't save you from lags, but with the setting you described it should work very decent.

I bet on weak power source in your case though.
