I've been trying with little success to get a copy of my late fathers will. I'm trying to find an email contact for someone who can point me in the right direction etc - no joy. As i'm on the other side of the planet, phones are not a viable solution - i aint been back to uk since, and no plans to go there in the future.

Anyone know of anyway i can perform most of this communication online? Struggling through the hmcourts webby atm...

They're a public document so you should be able to get them. Perhaps try the solicitors who wrote it, most practices I know keep digital copies they might be able to send you one?
Failing that, if you know where it physically is, get someone you know to go along there and get copies.
