Didn't see any other threads on this but I may have missed something.
Well its the first time I've ever managed to fully attend one of the GOA events. I always managed to miss them in the past for one reason or another.
I had a hoot.
Turned up at Goth when it got announced on alliance there was something <cough> in the wind.
I got some ace screenies of me being thrown through the air for miles. It was *really* strange being back in Iarnvidiur's Lair again. Never throught I'd be there as an Alb.
I had a good giggle watching that nasty elemental ripping through people in Wearyall. Yes I know, I'm sick, sad and depraved but it got more death spam than a Hib pbae team camping a gatehouse.
I don't know if it was coincedence or that something got tweaked or that a timer had been hit on the elemental but I'd been playing around waking Hudson in different forms and found that the ruby sim did rather nice reliable damage to it. Yay
Only regret for the evening is that we didn't manage to find out what was really going on. My guess is that it was due to much eagerness on people's various parts to crash on to the next section.
Maybe in a future event we'll find out
Anyway. Thanks to GOA and Requiel in particular for a fun evening, something totally out of the norm.
