Laptops and SI?

Mate is looking to purchase a laptop to run SI. Sounds a good idea but seems SI is a little picky as to video chipsets. Anyone running SI on a laptop? If you are what model are you using?

I am, but I bought a pretty high-end spec (it was my 30th birthday present to myself).

I have a PIV laptop with 2.something ghz that runs xp-pro, 512 meg of RAM, also has a Radeon 9000 mobility gfx card.

DAoC and SI have never had any problems running, I don't even really need to use the /vidreset command that much.

My desktop used to run SI with a 32meg card and was... ok. not great but ok.

There are 3 varients, Discreet - shares system ram i think

32 meg version - 64-bit
64 meg version - 128-bit

I've been running DAoC and SI on a Compaq Presario 2700 with few problems. 32 Mb Radeon Mobility gfx.
