heheh yes coming back for a few months I think. Not full time, but to play every once in a while.

I just found out you cant interchange video cards for laptops...so not sure how I'm gonna play with my current one. think maybe I get a few more Ram on it and see how it plays.

cya ingame lads and lasses...

i play on a dell inspiron 8200 with a mobility radeon 9000, it works pretty well but do NOT use the standard drivers, theyr wank.

If you use a mobility ati card id deffo reccomend using Omega drivers (google) its basicly some dude hwo hacked the factory drivers for optimal performance cos the ppl at ati are lazy :p

The ati mobility series is NOT supported by mythic but they ackknowledge them and give a few tips if you look on the knowledgebase. Id reccomend the mobility series though, its worked fine for me since i got my laptop.

My Toshiba Satellite has a GeForce 420 Go card and it runs fine.

The tip I had was to get either GeForce or Radeon and steer clear of the Intel Grafix Chip as it sux for gaming.

Personally not tried the Radeon but have tried GeForce and Intel. Be careful when you buy as some brands change just a simple digit in the name of the laptop and you end up with a completely different (poorer) spec.
