Typing away as i was this morning, my H key has pinged off. Although i've still got the key and the two retainer clip bits, part of one of them has a little bit missing and so i can't put the key back together.

I've looked all over for a replacement but nowhere seems to have the right parts. If i use a bit of superglue to put the key back onto the little rubber bit, am i likely to fuck it up further, or should i just resign myself to a life without a proper H key?

Ta :p

You could, but don't be stupid and press the button while it's drying :p

People usually don't f*ck up things, well, if they don't f*ck it up :D

I'd use model-glue though, just to be sure.

Is it still under warranty if so get them to replace the keyboard. I doubt you will find replacement keys on their own you may be able to find a replacement keyboard if not check ebay for a spare or repairs model and steal the keyboard. But using glue to hold the key there should be fine but make sure your super glue does not eat rubber first :)

My words … Apple sends replacement keys for free if you ask nicely =)

Everything can be fix'd with a hammer and duct tape Vlad! If this doesn't work, use a bigger hammer and more duct tape!

The same thing happened to me but with the C key. Just takes some extra effort to press it.
