Looks like G Romero has the green light to begin production of 'Land of the Dead', the fourth film in the trilogy! More details on imdb, but I'm wondering how he will be able to make the slow stumbling zombies as scary as in the original films (they won't be turbo charged like in the remake of Dawn, or Return of the Living Dead).

Its rumoured that Dennis Hopper is to play a lead role, IMO hes more scary than any zombies!

I'm fearing for the sanity of our brains.

Remero, with current day special effects etc is going to cause some horrible ultra-violence. Just thinking about the start of Dawn of the Dead makes me feel a little queasy.
You know, the bit where the police storm the flats and that guy goes on a rampage with a shotgun, blowing some guy's head totally apart in close up :s

I remember reading somewhere that apparently the plan is to have the zombies evolve from the slow stupid zombies, I don't know if this means they will just move fast or actually become smart though.
