LAN Server Stats?

Hmm, i was just wonderin if anyone knew how to do a LAN Server Stat, you know like the ones BW had - But for LANs......

I just wanna see what im like against guys on LAN Games...

I use Psychostats (www.psychostats.com) for our LAN CS server.
I guess you could use HLstats, same as what the BW peeps were trying out.
I've never configured HLstats so I've no idea if they are as easy to setup as psychostats

Yeah... i like the way HLStats is laid out, its prob the best i've seen...

but i am unsure whether you can set it up for a LAN? (I aint too gifted in this sorta stuff)...

All i want is to install it, and then run it, but question is, will it run as a net based thing or Local Area? (To retrieve info)

It retrieves the info directly from server logs doesnt it? So it wouldn't matter if you were on a LAN or not.

depends if you have a web sever running on your box

all you have to do open up ya browser and type in the IPof the box that has the stats html output followed by the folder they are in
eg:
192.168.0.1/hlstats

or

if you have no websever, just share the folder (so that all LAN users can see them) the HLstats output the html too and dbl click the "index.html" or whatever.

Yeah, I have set up HL stats on a LAN. It does require some configuring and tweaking, because it uses mySQL. That more or less means you need mySQL, PHP, Perl, and a few wee plugins. It is relitavely complicated to get running, so your best advised not to use it for a simple LAN. I agree with grimes, and think that psychostats should be fine for a LAN.
