as the location should be in a student union pub.
one day shot saturday, but gonna see if
i can get saturday/sunday as this give more time to sober up and travel.

should be a saturday / overnight / sunday about 14:00 shot.
the students union building has 3 bars
2 down stairs and 1 up stairs with big video projectors .and a cashline machine.
we have no idea on the cost for attending the lan as yet, but 2 options
1 = lan price + £6 this will include parking over the weekend ,unless i can do a deal.
2= lan price without parking.
also could get a loan of 2 x 24 way switches, that run at 10 mbs. so thats 96 ports.
but the 10/100 hubs are mine.
slow down m8 just get the 45 ppl first ok
and all the power for the machines.
everybody must drink and eat loads.

You talking to yourself? If you'd read my post above it says I'll try and get other ppl. ????? And nothing else?

Anyway, I've got one spare 24 port hub which was used in Company Server room b4 if needed. Cos the other 2 netgear hubs are now being used.

I work in IT Support, so if your running short on a few things then let me know, I'll see if I can help.

What student union are we talking about, Queen Margaret, Strathclyde........a homepage would be required, with routes on how to get theree and what they need to bring and who to contact etc... just like other lan sites.

the party will be in october (loads of time to plan it)

glasgow caledonian university-city campus
held in the "asylum" students association building,
parking is in the campus.
the only ppl in the building bar the staff lol are the ppl you who will be playing or helping with the lan.

start: saturday 28th october 12:00 ,high noon, think i will make it 10:00, but 12:00 for now.

bar shuts at 03:00 in the morning

finish: sunday 29th october 14:00

parking: on campus parking is £3.00 for the weekend.

games: quakeworld / q3a & gp3 if we can , would like to do UT and CS but will see about servers. loads of time to work it out.
