Lamfhotas Last Hope

A few active TD alliance guilds have formed a new neutral guild that will lead a new alliance. This guild is named: "Lamfhotas Last Hope"
The new guild will contain representatives (gm and officer alts) from the founding guilds. The guild itself will not be active.
GM's are alts from Peekay, Elric and Shamealot. Another GM spot is kept open for another guild that is considering to join at the moment.
Untill now Deasaevio and Celtic Leaf Army have joined. More guilds stated that they will join too.
If u want to apply just give a pm to one of the as guilds officers or gm's.

We would like to thank Terra Dominus for the good time we had in their alliance. Special thanks to BWL who tried to keep things alive the last weeks.

Hey Buffs, with all respect m8, but we cannot wait any longer. The Hibernian population was degrading so fast that we had to give ourselves something new to fight for.
We hope that, by forming a new active alliance, we will be able to keep Hibernia alive a bit so that there really is something to return to!!

raven not sure if your having a go at CLA by changing playstyles ,but go back 3years and you will find that all guilds used to have the same play styles until a few believed they were better than the rest. they became leet and changed the game to their playstyle which means the casual player will always lose out, which has driven away more people than CLA style groups have.

which in return has made cla one of the biggest guilds out there as we have fun still

We made a new alliance so we can carry on with the living guilds and not the dead ones.
This thread has indeed been made to give a positive impuls to our gamefun. If u wanna moan about the game, playstyle or server plz start ur own thread and leave us be.

this is a posative action by 2 of the most active guilds out there.

raven not sure if your having a go at CLA by changing playstyles ,but go back 3years and you will find that all guilds used to have the same play styles until a few believed they were better than the rest. they became leet and changed the game to their playstyle which means the casual player will always lose out, which has driven away more people than CLA style groups have.

The main aim of this alliance is to offer a place for the remaining active hib players to come together and push the realm forward. We as a realm have always had low numbers and our backs to the wall... and even now with no relics and in our darkest hour the brave few that remain show the fighting spirit that makes Hibernia what it is and always has been.

I would like to inform you that there are other guilds outside that new alliance that still is active, Bulle af Fetstryk on Hib excal is one of those. We are a few ppl that is out more or less everyday just for fun. We have no aim to be the best GG out there, we play merely for fun. But we are active...

bring on some more mids, and albs (WO DI bots, if there are any??)

but dont forget u leave people behind in the dead alliance, some people aint gm's and can't switch alliance anymore, u'll force em to join one of the other guilds... result even less claimed towers
my second point is that the people u gather in that new alliance... couldnt u reach em in td alliance? U just have a smaller amount of people that u can reach now. Unless ofcourse u gonna try to attract active guilds from other alliances.

I like the fact that u guys are taking action but i don't see any advance yet. So keep working on it, i'll be watching

If this is the case and people are stuck in guilds with no active GMs, I would suggest maybe Rightnowing and asking for an active character to be made a GM I know this is possible because it has been done before, hopefully this might help out a few GMless guilds.

The claiming keeps is a big issue, and I know that when I played Alb (many moons ago now so no flames please! ), we made "alt" guilds so we could claim towers.

We had a decent level 50 in each alt guild that we bounty point levelled when required so they could claim towers.

Perhaps we could do this within the new alliance?

Hail Lamfhota, the true born king of Hibernia. (Who is far too silly to lead us in battle, but hey who needs a king for that anyway??)

Why haven't mythic oganised a global kings battle, shit loads of NPC's and kings from each realm battling it out? this would be awesome and would match the boast that the game offered us when we all started... Ive not really been impressed by the large scale RvR where brains more than zerging brawn can often tip the outcome of a battle..

So u are saying that zerging, adding and so on is making people stay?
And the ability for soloers to solo without getting zerged, the possibility for FG's to have fights without getting adds is making people leave??

If some people are making a last ditch attempt to keep things going on Hibernia Pryd/Excalibur cluster then I wish them every luck. Given the state things have reached I think it would be a really good idea if people drop the arguing and also drop any idea of publicity campaigns giving one side of a complicated situation. This can only continue the destruction. Give the people still trying to play on the cluster a chance, don't hammer the final nail in the coffin.

As for what made people leave, no one can speak for other people, especially those who do not post on this forum. If GOA actually did a leaving survey asking people their reasons for quitting it might be revealing.
