I dont disagree what they did is wrong, but unlike you I try to look at it from all perspectives.
I saw hibs and mids being lame but I aint gonna post about it as I'm 100% sure there are some albs who did something lame as you explain.
It's just sad to see so many people on these forums posting like children when that sort of stuff should be left behind with FPS games like TFC & CS.

Tell Mythic to make you a safe area for duellers only. I don't give twat about your duels. For me all mids and hibs are enemies and must die on sight. Is that hard to understand ?

Nilj's point is that these people were taking part in the duels but then decided to start killing a few people. They didn't just stumble upon the dueling and decide duels are lame, lets kill them. They were there dueling too, hence by participating they had stated their intentions to join in in these honourable duels. Then by acting dishonourably they were making themselves liars so to speak.

On the nobrains lameness front, he shot me whilst i was sitting watching too. Then when i was rezzed he came up and hit me, i stunned and nuked him down but i thought i'd show i was the better person and backed off when he was one nuke from death. After that he was fine and we had a couple of honourable duels (both which he won ) also dueled godofredo and he kicked my arse too. (Really need to work on my anti-archer technique ). I've killed nobrains 2 nights in a row at amg tho so i'm happy with that. (Revenge is a dish best served cold and all that )

I had a whole sum up thing i was gonna write but i'm tired and i've forgotten exactly what it was. Was along the lines of this is a game set in a war, everyone has their own honour code for fighting. Some people may duel honourably, others may feel they can duel as they please, others may dislike dueling altogether and go out of their way to stop it. Every person is entitled to their view and is entitled to play the game as they please. So stop arguing, people who don't like duels stop flaming them on here and get out there and do something about them. People who are after honourable duels find some harder to find place to have them in and make sure only people who you think will fight honourably show up. Have some sort of across realm policy that anyone who acts dishonourably gets ganked and noone from the realm involved resses them.

p.s. I reckon that we should have a big cross realm party somewhere with minsts/bards/skalds playing music and a load of dancing. Come on, make love not war.

My comment was not about people taking part in duels starting to kill others but people just passing by, seeing other fighting ,deciding to kill those unaware enemies.
Nilj calling me an idiot just make him sound like a child or a very young person, that has to learn how to speak to other people in a decent manner and that's why I made my reply to his post.

Had a conversation about duelling last night..

Duelling is good fun IMO (regardless of the official stance on it or whatever) and is infinately more interesting than the zerg. I think its a nice change every now and again to duel.
It could maybe be made more interesting (and fair) by allocating arena space in the frontiers which are coded to allow 2 people to fight unhindered and unbuffed(which sounds pretty hard to code.. never know though). To stop the cries of 'rp farmer' no Rp's should be allocated for kills and deaths are insta-resurrected. It'd be nice to have a place to stage tournaments between the heroes of each realm... To fight for glory, honour and, well, bragging rights

I know its a pretty far fetched Idea but It beats a flame any day of the week .

Thats the only real problem I have with duels however, you cant expect anyone to respect them and hang off ganking everything in sight. Its mebbe not honourable but its perfectly fair enough and there can be no complaints. As a result of which, the forums explode into flames and personal insults...

Evenly matched fights are the most fun imo. Best rvr battle i can remember being in was in df. We were at hulks xping (grp of 8) when alb got the door. We decided to leave at this point but on our way out bumped into a fg of albs of similar lvls and gpr make up who were obviously on the way to the hulks. Now that was a good fight.

He beckoned me, i bowed to him, i went in combat mode and waited till he started casting, then i ran towards him, got rooted, he started nuking, i chased him, hit him once then you critshotted me for 600. I stop hitting him, and start to run away as your second arrow hits me for 350 or something, you continue firing and im dead after the 3rd arrow hits me.

Now, who did something wrong here? Who did ANYTHING WRONG HERE?

FFS! I was alone as a midgard-dude among like 14 albs, and was duelling a dude, couldnt you ATLEAST have the curtesy to wait till the duel was over?
And please tell me again WHY YOU HIT ME! I hadnt done ANYTHING wrong.
I saw you killed Isra while he was sitting, but I though that if I attacked you, all the albs would attack me and what good would that do?

Same reason I didnt help wrathofsauron in the duels after the 911 thing. He said huma&co were rezz killing him and his buffbot and so on. but i wouldnt help cuz it would only lead to two dead zerkers and praps 2 dead albs, what good would that do?
I came to emain/hadrians that day to duel, not to kill albs or hibs and get rps, that I can do any day.

Nice going, Second. RP's are split according to how much damage everyone have done on the guy that gets killed. If several groups have done damage to him, then each of those groups will get their share, and then that share will be split evenly among each member of that group.
That was ignorant, or maybe if I stretch myself a little bit, just call it a bad joke.

Zatos, being a member of Clan Bearhawk (who are against you blatent RP farming duels) decided to kill a few of you..
I never attacked anyone apart from stunning them and dancing with them to STOP them attacking Hibs.

I really have nothing more to say on this topic, I never killed Nobrains once, you will find that was Zatos (again).. Unless you count the 3 times when I was camping your PK and he couldnt shoot me
