LAIR in malmo

I laughed my ass off when I ran into Malmo after 1.52 patch. Easy as a piece of cake..

Ask players who dinged before 1.52 how they got into Malmo;
Either by being very very very careful when going the svarfalf way, or by bringing a zerg of 4 groups with atleast 2 healers to be able to handle the drakulv aggro..

Malmo-ers post 1.52 are just spoiled. No-pain-no-gain

Going thru svartalfs down along the zonewall till you hit H-stones ain't a problem.

The problem comes when you have to go from H-stones to lair. Usually you can run across along the side of H-stones and up the wall opposite of zonewall and just hug it till you hit lair. You can't go that atm as there is a rather large amount of WWs that have spawned all the way up the hill.

I counted a good 12+ that are within aggro range, some of them exec's, probably not more than a couple of groups can take down without much hazzle, unless they all baf at once

Yes, exactly the same point where you had to be very careful pre 1.52...

Some times it´s impossible to get in solo, but sometimes you can make it. Usually I had to sprint through that spawn on the hill and get a bit closer to the lair and then kindly ask a resser to come and try to reach you

Usually we took the "normal" route straight South from the stone at the entrance of Malmo. With luck you got to the exec spawns the lair groups pull from and if you kindly asked around they perhaps pulled away some execs so you could get in.

It always seems to be the same after a server reset/reboot/whatever.

Always after anything has been done its a bastard getting to the lair.

Kill the mobs on the walls a few times and it back to normal.

They were there the day before patch, I was passing that way. Went back this evening and wiped them with 1FG on way to hunting at Yar.

Their buddies got their revenge later at Yar though

I don't think the spawns are bugged, just a random element that means sometimes you are going to have a very bad day. Its always been pretty much like that, just sometimes worse than others.

ERM are we the only realm that have this trouble to ding 50? They make it harder and harder..

Not making it harder and harder, these spawns come and go.
They're there for a day or two then wandre off to appear later on...

I have been saying this for ages:
Do not cross the valley at H-stones! Keep following the zonewall for a while.
Now I havnt checked if they put drakulvlv in my route after patch but I sure as hell know it was by far a safer way in 1.50 and 1.52.

Agree with Freia. Stay on south zone wall after H-stones until you get to about 32K East and cross there.

Good general advice, though I don't know if the server-reset spawn still effects this route once you cross to the hill.
