since cluster im having the same problem, i report it to RN and got this answer:

Dear customer,

Go to the 'properties' page of the network card. Start Menu -> Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager. In that window, go to Network Adapters and then click on the + sign then right click on the network card itself and choose 'properties'. Look for an option which will be called either 'Hardware Checksumming' or 'Checksum Offload' and disable it. Click on OK and then close all the other windows and the problem should be solved.

:eek7: i update my question saying:

"none of my pc´s and laptop have that option on the network card, and if my problem was that "Hardware checksumming", i would get lag in all router´s not only on po9-1.loncr3.London.opentransit.net [193.251.240.217]"

GOA just said "shh u noob go bug someone else" :puke:

Hello again,

The routing from your computer to our network is the responsibility of your ISP. So you should contact them to resolve the problem.

Darkptang: you have lag

other people don't

Doesn't take a genius to figure out that it's not a server problem.

Hardware checksum fixes a lot of linkdeath problems, reply with the fact you don't have hardware checksum option on your network card. Or just go upgrade your network card drivers and try that out.

If it's still broken run pingplotter to see where the problem is - given there's no 20 page whines about lag on FH this morning I'd imagine it's somewhere further from GOA than that good old wanadoo-portails.opentransit router that everyone loves.

rofl, your so funneh sometimes flim! Loads of people complained about lags in the frontiers last night. My connection is rock stable, yet goa succeded to create a 500-1000ms(Periodic problem) delay when running in the frontiers. At least they did last night. Maybe your right about it not being a direct server problem, but then it can only be GOA´s own ISP.. Not the customers.
I couldnt even be arse to start ping plotting, since we allways gets told to contact our ISP´s. Pretty funny.. I can play other games with pings around 20-15ms ... But suuure its my isp .. :eek7: Its getting really old tbh.

I didn't notice it all night - noone was complaining about it on the /gu or the /as... so there's quite a few people that didn't have lag problems.

It sounds to me like some router somewhere is playing up - that could be opentransit or it could be sprintlink, uu.net, whoever - some backbone between you and the servers.

Where are you getting your 1s pings from btw? or did you actually run pingplotter? ;)

It's a nice bit of software, pretty cheap.

However, just hit cancel when the prompt comes up and you can carry on using it for ever, if the few quid is too much for you.
