Lagg/ld isssues

Ok the story is, i reinstalled my OS on monday, since then i get lagg every few mins, if i dont' survive the lagg i'll go ld. I'm using a intel pr 10/100 onboard net card, and WIn xp pro. I use a router to connect to the net,

what's getting me is that last week using the same network card drivers but using xp home i wasn't having any of this problem

Anyone got any ideas ?

oterhwise i'll miss out on the ml9 raid tomorrow

I would guess some driver not installed, check network card and video card drivers first..

the same video and network card drivers are install as the ones that where working fine last week , but i'll see if there is a later verison to use when i get hom.. Thanks for you reply =)

Could be worth trying the checksum disable trick on the card too.

I've also in the past had problems with a 10MHz router on a 100MHz network, which could be worth checking. It dropped about 1 packet in 10 for some reason.

think i've found out what it was.
I turned off MSN messenger and i've not had a LD since.
THink some F*cktard was trying to hack me
