Ok keeping this simple, using a router and cable connection from Chello, Netherlands and recently i keep going ld and after that i'm unable to reconnect to any online game or the internet with any program, only way i know of to fix this is to reboot the pc.

So my question is does anyone else have any idea on where the problem might be or had similar experiences and if so how can it be fixed/can it be fixed at all?

I figured it might be my router altho the other pc on it is still able to connect.
So could this be something DAoC causes?

Sounds possibly like either a NAT or DHCP issue. What router you using? Try updating the firmware on the router first of all. Make sure any connection timeout settings are set to 0 too.

Do you LD at any particular point ?

I was using a Netgear NIC, and when I used the Djinn, I went LD and lost all networking and had to reboot. Was solved by downgrading from the XP drivers to the 1.8 drivers on the Netgear website.

ONe of my friends has the same problem with daoc
He could run all online games fine except daoc, it would be fine for 10 mins or so then he would ld and comp would crash.

Aye that happens to me..i just pull the usb port out and reinsert so the comp finds my modem again..then I can reconnect.
Having done trace routes both myself and with a Technician <their online help desk is helpfull> we both came to the same conclusion.
It isnt my end.

Opentransit is just fucked.

As far as I know, Wanadoo owns opentransit. Or the other way around..

Having 500+ ping atm = No game. :|

.fi here.

Might be a DHCP problem.
Can you do Start -->run, type in cmd and in the dos screen do an ipconfig and see what your IP / subnet mask is, before and after you go LD .
