lack of sorcs and AE mez

hibs and mez go hand in hand because almost every bard in their realm is music specced, thus they have AE mez. ive noticed how pissed off ppl get with this.

we have the power to do the same but lacking in sorcerers to do so. the only decent sorc i know with AE mez is Psi. most of the time i see him in RvR hes great to have in a group, you get the occasional one or two other sorcs but thats just it. we lack the mezzing backbone mind sorcs.

i mean we could piss off hibbys sooo much if we came back at them with an army of about 10 sorcs all AE mezzing. if we did this we would practically own RvR and the other realms would be hanging by a shoe-string.

hibbys and RvR are always armed with bards because they know how much they piss us off with their AE mez.

WE HAVE IT!

Hibs are just plain annoying to fight; as said they all have AE mez, and more likely than not they will have Grp Purge as well; effectively rendering AE mez useless on them.

However, Albion has a sillily overpowered RA as well, known as SoS Get a minstrel, SoS, and beat their mages to pulp why the bards stand there trying to mez you. Minstrel without SoS is gimped for RvR grping, so get it today

More sorcs in RvR would on the whole be a blessing though, keep levelling

hmm, why this mezhysteria?? in a while _everybody_ will have some purge or at least some determination in higher steps. Mez is not the way of the future, any tank without some mezbreker/dur.shortener is a craptank, hence Mez will still be good yes, but not as horrifyingly superior as it have been. I feel really sorry for all those sorcerers though... they have been hit really hard with the nerfbat and though I actually I believe its for the good, i still feel sorry for them. Before, battles was won by the one that got away the first mez, and imo, that is not how it should be. Now its more skillbased as I see it. Good players can _always_ beat bad players as it will be soon.
Specc good, ask for advice from the higherlvls, keep the gear in shape (i have seen lvl45!! tanks with 78%condition on the plate) , keep the resists in shape, read classboards, learn and adapt.

The only thing that can create a good player is experience, and u dont get that by runnin

more damage and makes them poo themselfs and run for cover




i would rather 20 hibs mezzed that an aoe on them

most of the time in rvr i just stun as its cueing them up for the tanks to kill

Actually you are still mezzed, but your movement is not hindered.
So no caster beating

True, but it's rare for the whole group to be caught in a mez when you zoom using SoS

I'm with the anti mezzers, its all about instent mezzes and stuns and albs only instent mezzer is the cleric and were getting nerfed soon. Albs just cannot compeate against the other realm for CC rvr. With purge, mezzes and stuns will have a much smaller role in RvR so we need a new tatic. I sujest using the the time while a group is mezzed to get a target on the player in the centre with your most powerful AOE DOT, Debuff or Nuke (or thurgy pets) and left fly cause there gonna be hit that purge button as soon as they realise they have not resisted the mezz (i read somewere that all mids/hibs try and max there spirit resist).

Hay and as a smite cleric i get a bit annoyed when someone breaks my mezz, especally as i have to charge in to pull it off.

Hmmm... all this talk about purge nerfing mezz... well first off when i mezz i hardly ever get the entire crowd to stay still (True im not 50 -yet- would be great with a 0 fail chance on aemezz at 50... hehe).. always a few resists... And when that happens dont u just mezz them again if too many ppl are still moving? Purge is also a 10pt RA... how many ppl are going for purge first? Personally im going for MoC before purge (and i need near 100krps just to get that... me wanna be tank hehe).. if I ever get purge.. and group perge.. a group spell... if thats used mezz them again? only can be used once every 30min ffs

True if you are fighting just one grp of enemies this might be a problem, but several groups for the neat big mezzes.. all grps those peoeple belong to have to have a grp purger with the purge available at the moment. Believe me, us sorcs will be more aware watching for purges if they happen.


(also purge is not just for mezzes.. its for aedots and poisons etcetcetc... so cabalists can lose their damage dealing to the grp.. or do u suggest they just recast it.. well we can recast aemezz again as well

Lots of sorcs in the 40s at the moment striving for 50 or at least 47++ (i was crap at cc in RvR til i got that level.... mezzes were resisted all the time against the enemy lol) so hopefully soon we will see a new group of aemezzers enter the battlefield.

Cleric mez is spirit, I think stun is body... everyone has high body resist as most mez is on it.

No offence but if a sorcerer can't handle a bard he didn't buy the right RA's etc

i baught purge
people have dissed this but it has saved me and doomed healers and bards so meny times

Why-
Healer/bard insta mez's me- i purge and quickcast mez him? he purges but i cast faster than him with dex as my secondary stat


Clerics i didn't mean to diss you guys u do a great job (when AOE smite is off your quickbar lol)
