Lack of competions

When will there be another giant Unreal tourney comp for the whole world with great prizes coz I know loads for people will take part and it will kick ass. I am not complaining but I think online gameplay has suffered because of the lack of giant comps.

Well, for a first post, I think this is something rarely talked about, yet it is bugging me! The only compo I have seen was in PCGamer with a massive UT knockout tourney. Now, I would of loved to have gone, but it was too far away (it was in Nottingham and I live in Essex)

Since then, I have seen absolutely nothing! What is going on? Surely people like LAN Arena would make sooooooooo much money if they did regular money winning tournaments, but no!

So, until a tourney comes near Essex or I get ADSL (which will prob arrive when I am 79 ), I will have to wait! Grrrr...

Funilly enough Lan arena are installing a couple of very large servers in the next few weeks and have also just connected to the internet. They are talking about setting up bookable internet servers (we're going to beta one) a-la-Barry and if this is succesful they will undoubtedly be able to stage a large compo over the net.

Mind u it's always better to play there for lower pings. Playing a corporate challenge there tonight (I live 5 mins from the Nottingham site). Come on CP!
