I've purchased the expansion and downloaded it from Mythic, but can't get it to work. It tells me that it cannot update the patcher utility and tells me to go to a webpage that either doesn't exist or will not open.

I did report it to Mythic eight days ago and was told I would receive a response within three days. Go figure.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Thanks!

Never mind, found the answer on VN boards. If anyone has a similar problem in future here it is:

I am receiving a 308 error when I try to patch in Windows Vista. Does DAoC work with Windows Vista?

Yes, since the 1.88 patch Dark Age of Camelot is fully supported for Windows Vista. However, you may get a 308 error when you run the game for the first time. This means you need to set Administrative rights for the game to work correctly.

To do this:

* Right click on the shortcut you use to launch DAOC
* Select "Properties"
* Click on the "Compatibility"Â tab
* Check the "Run as administrator" box
* Click on the "Shortcut"Â tab
* Click the "Advanced" button
* Check the "Run as administrator" box
* Click OK then APPLY then OK

This will allow Dark Age of Camelot to run normally.
