It's not a bug, it was a zerk only change.

Style review as a whole was dropped in favor of smaller steps per the Herald a few weeks back.

for a SB, it was the thing that kept SBs to be on par with Infils.

funny thing is, my cap at RR6 with Doublefrost on a lvl1 mob was 350dmg.

even with prenerf (1.62) and pre armourtable change (dunnel but alb leather was weak to mid slash) and 30qui troll zerk 700 df damage is impossible without a decent crit

rr6+ SB pre-LA nurf hitting cap on my friends infil on excal.

That was high for doublefrost as well, 422 so she must have had 48+ Sword, 44+ LA along with lvl 3 DR atleast.

Yes that was "too high" but shit me, look at infil damage now and its near that already.

Kinda feel sorry for SB`s now, playing on the otherside of the fence. when an rr1 merc beats the snot out of an rr6+ SB who lands PA/CD.. etc. SB`s are in trouble dmg wise.

Ohh and thats an rr1 merc with naff items, no ToA stuff at all and ghetto buffs that dont cap stats vs an rr6+ SB with capped buffs, haste, ToA stuff.

Show me an rr1 Zerker who can kill an rr6+ Infil in 1 vs 1 given similar conditions.

There arent any.

Tried a rr1 merc a few months back in df infront our entrance.
Pa got bugged like it did then all the time. Got the merc down to 80% I think.
90% of hits were fumbles cos of of dt... not 100% sure but I think the merc was unbuffed cos his hits were really low... 2 hits in in the whole fight for 100 damage or so both and he only hit back for shait 150 or so. Anything hits for 300+ now.

Was funny to rezz from stairs and think that Im uber.

There is a way for toe to toe combat for a sb. Fast way to bind point that is.

Infs regularly hit me for 3-400 with mainhand and I have capped resists

I usually hit for somewhere between 100 and 150 with heatweapon on infil, but Im only RR2 and they are RR5+ and have relics, maybe that explains some of the damagedifference, still find it strange that they hit for more than twice sometimes 3x my damage.

Yeah I respecced Marathor to 50hammer/shield(+moblock4) 6sc rest parry (?28? cant remember now) to farm. So only thing I have hit on it was infils with str relics behind me so got no idea of rvr on it. And I wont as who the hell will take a thane to a rvr group ?

Btw. I tried a spec with only 22laxe+dr2 and 50sword... damage is not as good as 39 39 spec on it. Im looking forward on NF to take the dr away so my damage will go to same I had on the test spec... some sbs will cry irl when that happens.

It's basic LA mechanics that if you spec low la you get

+ an offhander that swings every time

- gimped base damage on both hands

modified damage = base damage * (.625 + .0034 * LA spec)
69.98% = 100% ( 0.625 + 0.0034 * 22)

and no decent la styles
