DAOC... March 2002 -> May 2003 .... RIP

6 days left on this DAOC account... my only account... and with the increase in subscription charges and changes within my life, I wont be renewing.

Yeah ok,,, so others have made the same post, this ones no different. I just feel better for putting this down in writing.

Ive played many characters over the last 14 months, made some friends, and naturaly some enemies. To anyone I've offended over the last 14 months I am truely sorry and wish you the best in your continuation of the game, we were all new at some point and I can have quite a short temper, things said in the heat of the moment.

The last few weeks have been VERY hard, I've had some personal issues to deal with, for those that know me, my brother left home two weeks ago, and things have not been the same since then. We've spent many hours leveling together and this is a major contribution to the decision not to renew.

Many thanks to all the individuals and guilds that helped, I will miss you all dearly, but you are too many to mention (save Jupitus, I already miss you the most)

NXS - you are undoubtedly one of the most mature and understanding players ever to enter DAOC, and you did so with yourself handicapped from the start. I will always remember the conversation we had before you joined PL and the fact that you were so open and honest with me about your situation and how much I appreciated that.

You have my email addy, I would hope, and can stay in touch that way. Whatever you future holds I wish you the very best, and believe it or not I'd like you to pass that same sentiment on to your brother for me.

I don't often come out of the convent these days, but I had to , to say goodbye to you Nxs.

I remember Christmas Eve, and the long chat we had through the night.

I remember Fatal being such a nice person to group with on the plains, and trying to convince you to go higher than 24 with him.

I remember the times you came back, and always being pleased to see you again.

If I had known you were Trancer, you would have been on my friends list , no doubt.
