yes but you must do the prequest to get the ultimate "Tomte Potion" to be able to damage Kraken.

Kraken isn't that high a lvl mob and a ml10 summ SM could certainly kill him. The trouble is Kraken has 100% nearsight which will release your pet. You shouldn't be able to focus farm him, there are also reports that he won't drop anything if a pet gets the last hit.

I have killed him successfully 3 times (1 time he didn't drop) and failed on about 4 occasions.

He has 100% nearsight, can grapple about 4 people at once, has an aoe dot that ticks for ~400 damage and can FZ people along way away. The good news is he is only lvl 65 so you can hit him in melee for ~50 damage and spells do land on him on occasions. He has been patched I think since I last killed him so he maybe slightly different now.
