Just finished playing this. Its my first RPG and I was really impressed. I do have Balders Gate 2 somewhere in my attic so I may actually open the box this time.
Is it any good?

BG2 is excellent, but it is huge.

By huge I mean "300+ hours of gameplay huge".

One of the best RPGs ever made imo.

I'm currently working thro KoTR, and finding it very good.

One thing I did notice last night is that my character has actually phsyically changed, depending on what alignment I'm at (dark or light side).

Here's a couple of pics of me at the start and one taken last night, when I'm almost totally turned to the darkside.

Never noticed it before, but it's quite a funkeh addition.

I've just bought bg2 and ffxi and will probably pick up kotor this week.

Way to go me. 3 more games that I definitely don't have time to play

BG2 is superb. TBH , just get BG1 , then then the expansion, then BG2 , then the expansion.

You wont have a social life for the year 2 years, but youll be playing the best RPG's ever so you wont care

sounds great. KOTOR does rock tho Im playing Dark side now. There's just so much to do.
