KOA: Reckoning

Anyone picking it up? looks to be a great game and the making of a great trilogy if things go the right way.

Apprently the writer has something like 10,000 years worth of story written for the series.

Got it downloaded and ready to play on Steam .. IGN gave it good reviews , gamespot didnt really seem to get it .. i played the demo thought it was ok and the demo is supposed to be crap compared to the real game

well this is bollocks, bought it on steam loaded it all up fine but when it goes to login to my EA account it wont login no matter what I put in, even tried to make a new account... even tried using my SWTOR/BF3 orgin e-mail/ea account but nothing, what a load of shit.

I have laptop that can run KOA nicely, but i prefer my nice comfy couch tbh.

Also posts above don't exactly make me want to rush and download from steam anytime soon.

Been playing since 7am very nice game so far.

no idea what it is moriath, its where it says "Enter EA account e-mail and passworD" tried entering my Orgin e-mail and tried entering my DAOC/EA e-mail none of which work :< tried making a new account under the same e-mail as the orgin account and it said account already exists.

aye lots on the forum with the same problem they say go to EA site and get online help and they can sort it for you

This is funny, because console games are more likely to be patched "these days" and have online services that take the whole game down when they are off for maint.

Finished it last day; couldn't really get engaged in the story because of horrible voice acting; the combat is epic however.

It's a shame the game discourages doing sidequests because if you do them you'll constantly outlevel the main quest and steamroll anything and everything.

Game also feels very porty for the PC. Camera is horrible; KB/M was nearly unplayable, had to use my PS3 controller to experience smooth gameplay. Engine has some major graphical issues with the major issue being the non adjustable LOD so everything pops in worse then Saints Row 2 with no mods. Flickering textures and shit also isn't a rare occurrence.

Game feels unfinished and rushed though. Especially doing sidequests and overleveling the main content feels like a huge oversight.

Oh I played the game as a Sorc; full on; good fun at early/mid levels trough the main quest: Stupidly overpowered (even without doing even 1 sidequest and having the game on Hard) near the second half of the game.
