Ok, so my friend has just passed her exams and is going to do Art at college

i want to buy her some quality drawing pencils or something like that

Anybody know a good site or make to get?

Karisma, I think they were called. Used them in my A-Levels at the recommendation of my art teacher (who makes loads selling his shit paintings, the cnut).

Gauche(sp?) paints?

Yeah karisma's are good, I used them all through GCSE and A-Level Graphic design - well the coloured pencils anyway, in terms of sketching pencils I use Rexel Derwent series (who also do coloured pencils). They come in various tins ranging from hard to soft pencils and I find them very comfortable to use (the karisma's hurt my fingers after a while and left a smooth red indent on my skin...I guess because of the wood or something).
