I never use irc much, when I do I use Mirc and its not very friendly to the new user.

hmm.. klient is very customisable,but can be a bit retarded sometimes, although it does let you connect to multiple servers in the same window, which is a bit handy

Not to me m8 Most quit messages I've ever seen use Mirc and Pirch. Or maybe I live a sheltered online life =P
