Bought one of these to use PS2 pads on me PC but I can't get it working with MAME32. The games just refuse to load when I enable Joystick support

It seems to work fine in Control Panel -> Game Controllers until I try starting a MAME game. Then it seems that some of the buttons appear locked when I go back into Cotrol Panel -> Game Controllers.

Any ideas ?

i had probs wit this in win2k need for spped etc not booting up at all. either yer can mail soyo and they should send you minta beta drivers that work or i can mail the beta drivers to you

Ahhhh, I just got one yesterday. - specifically for MAME.

Haven't tested it yet though.

um at work i only have a track ball an no mouse, so anyone know how to get the buttons reistered in hitman 2 and other pcs games?

Well, it works.

One problem I'm having though: anyone got thps3 on the pc?

It won't let me assign the d-pad to the up/down/left/right. Only analogue sticks.

I've tried assigning specific keys, or binding an acis, but neither work, any ideas?

edit: I think the two analogue pads are the axis' and the d-pad is a pov thing. So I don't seem to be able to assign it in thps3, which is a bloody pain as that's the main reason I bought it.

edit 2: duh, press the analogue button! changes the d-pad from pov thing to axis. then games can use it. sorted!

well, yaka=rock.. the drivers work.

Just tried it in mame though, anyone else find that it's very slow to react to the buttons?

I tried playing sfa3, just far too hard to do any moves because it kinda ignores a lot of what you press on the pad :/

I noticed that too at first.

Just takes a bit of getting use to I think.

ah thats mame init? butons seem very responsive on pc version of rallisport

Yeah, tony hawks plays fine. mame games seem very sluggish :\
