i `think` i got rid of most of my qtd`s by flashing my mobo bios to the latest version and updating ALL (ide / sata / lan / agp / vid card / sound) my drivers to the latest version available.
before i did that yesterday one qtd every 1-2 hours was common, since doing the update i haven`t experienced 1 qtd.
before i got harbled sound at places, lower frame rate, times when i had ultra low fps. seems all fixed now.
well, your lucky imo, i had that problem to but i only got kicked out 1 time each day or so.
but hear this, was playing war yesterday then it all of a sudden just freezelagged 10 sec, i was like wtf.... then again... i took of my earphones and heard a clicking noise from my hdd... then BAM blue screen and computer crashed...
and it was not to hot or something, i clean my computer every 2-3 weeks etc.
2 year old samsung disk :/
QQ with whole weekend of buying new hdd reinstalling everything and QQ about all photos i lost.
tis definately weird this one, my husband and i have identical computers yet he gets random black screens that sometimes crash to desktop but sometimes returns back to game, i have not had any of this
i would definately recommend to anyone tho, to do as suggested and make sure you have all your drivers up to date, give the pc a clean both physically (inside the case) and on the system (many good programs out there to help with this) and defrag.
and you can choose to check the files as you log in, it takes a while but it might help
oh and fiire dont know if your using a nvidia gfx card but if you are ive put some tweaks in the tech section of our forum, its helped a couple of peeps now might help you dunno
people, install driver detective to see if you have out dated/missing drivers dont need to buy it, just look to see which ones need attention then look in your device manager to get the models ect. updating to the latest versions of everything will more than likly cure all your problems.
Sometimes a crash in ob, a few hangups in headstart but this evening its terrible. 14 crashes to desktop in about 5 hours playtime. Before headstart i have downloaded latest drivers and defragged drives. Dont know what the problem is but its annoying.
For me the disconnects started 2 patches ago. Earlier this week i could play to many hours without interruption, lastnight after work i dc'd 3 times, first took 1 hour, 2nd 20 min, 3rd 40 min, then i logged and went to bed.
I had this but only in rvr scenarios and that was about 1 in 4 of them, although I do them a lot. It seems to have settled down now, none for a couple of days - touch wood.
